Well. we have left Spearfish, and headed towards Michigan, going through the UP (Upper Peninsula) on the way. We had multiple detours and wound up camping on the side of the road one evening.
We stopped in Michigan on the way home and spent several enjoyable days with Michelle and Eric. The lake (Michigan) was higher than normal due to recent rains but most everything was unaffected. We visited several of the local wineries and did some “antique” shopping in the local area. We had a several course dinner on the veranda at the Cook’s House restaurant. We had time to wind down from the trip and enjoy the weather and company for several days before hitting the road for Georgia.
We put about 7,500 miles on the motorhome and 3,500 miles on the truck on this relatively short trip and managed to go through several books, but we picked up more books than we read. Now we have to find room for the additions in our bookcases.
