We will be participating in the Hogpen Hill Climb in January. This is a run that I had previously sworn that I would NEVER repeat. It is a ll.5 mile run, all uphill, at a 10%+ grade. I intend on using this as a “long run” in my abbreviated training regimen. I have already committed to the Sedona Marathon in February (a combination hilly/trail run through the Arizona desert), then the “combo” in Little Rock on the way back . . a 5K on Saturday and a full Marathon on Sunday. In addition, I will be running in the Resolution Run with the Atlanta Track Club on New Year’s day and any other lesser organized run as I will have a very short training period, starting next week. I will be in the St. Jude Marathon this weekend in Memphis and have to get more serious into training thereafter . . .
