Rain and drizzle today so I decided to brush up on my High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. I took these tripod mounted shots a while back, while in Canada anticipating that I may have time to fool with them later.
The first is a HDR photo using five individual images, captured at 2 EV intervals, blended in PS Lightroom:

This is a HDR photo using three individual images, again capturted at 2 EV intervals:

Neither of these photos would have been possible without the blending of multiple images (HDR), due to the very high contrast between the sunlit sky and the darkened foreground.
I probably will be using this procedure/technique more often . . .
